The Shorey transforms into a secure chest-wrap dress or a classic beach wrap in seconds. Crafted from 300 gsm microfibre suede, dry sand falls straight off while wet sand brushes away cleanly, keeping your post-swim transition seamless.

Thick, heavy changing robes can feel restrictive and excessively hot during an Australian summer. The Shorey provides reliable coverage while changing out of wet swimwear, closing securely with press studs. When you are finished, it lays flat as a clean beach towel or a personal lounge mat, and packs away compactly without the bulk.

What is the Shorey?
A 150 x 75 cm beach towel made from 300 gsm microfibre suede, with a belt-like band across the top that closes with press studs. You can dry off with it and wear it.
How does it stay on?
The band across the top closes with press studs. No knot, no clip and nothing to hold. For cape wear, it buttons closed at the front.
What are the five looks?
Wrap, Front Sarong, Side Sarong, Skirt and Protection Mode. It also works as a plain beach towel or lounge mat.
Is it sand resistant?
When the towel is dry, sand falls straight off. When it is wet, sand brushes off easily.
Can I get changed in it?
Yes. The press-stud band holds the wrap in place, so you can change out of wet swimwear with your hands free and stay covered.
Is it quick drying and easy to pack?
Yes. The microfibre suede dries quickly and packs down to a fraction of the room a bulky cotton towel takes in your bag.

Why is this a preorder?
We make the Shorey in monthly batches rather than holding stock. The current batch closes 30 November, and orders ship about 4 weeks after the batch closes, with estimated delivery in early January. This is an estimate, not a guarantee.

Your order goes into the next monthly batch, and the estimated delivery moves back by about a month. The dates on this page always show the current batch.
Can I cancel or get a refund?
Yes. You can cancel your preorder for a full refund at any time before production begins. Email hello@myshorey.com with your order number. Your rights under Australian Consumer Law are not affected.
What does it cost, and what about shipping?
One Shorey is $129 AUD, with shipping calculated at checkout. Two or more are $99 AUD each, which saves $60 on a pair, with free standard shipping within Australia.
Can I order more than three?
Yes. Use the quantity box under the offers. Every Shorey from the second one on is $99 and shipping within Australia is free.
Do you ship outside Australia?
Not yet. We currently ship within Australia only.
